Dan Preston started his own firm almost 40 years ago. 25 years ago Gregg Weaver started working with Dan, and 5 years later Ben Blair joined. Working together since in varied iterations, and once being absorbed by a larger firm specializing in Human Healthcare, they now have reconstituted into a smaller architectural design group as studioARCHON, specializing in Veterinary Healthcare.

Dan is a Socratic thinker always searching for the most logical, honest, and economical solutions. Economical in no way means sacrificing good design but rather often can inspire the most appealing and timeless designs. It doesn’t take his clients long to determine he is fair, has integrity, and is determined to provide what they need in the best way possible.
Gregg Weaver, AIA
Swinging a hammer during the years he studied architecture, Gregg learned that the best outcome for any project demands team effort and attention to detail. Client collaboration in developing a program and schematic plan must be honed thoroughly into a set of construction documents, that then are administered through a strong rapport with contractors to ultimately construct the facility the client envisioned.
Benjamin Blair, AIA
Ben, a registered Architect, is recognized for his thoughtful designs and keen eye to detail. His analytical and exacting approach to design, project management and documentation ensures that studio ARCHON consistently executes all projects with clarity and care.
